Scope of work
As part of the Yan Yean Road Upgrade, CIG carried out the construction of 13 retaining walls, spanning more than 1.5km in total. This involved bringing together several teams from FRP, piling, steel fabrication and precast to successfully deliver an end product consisting of 694 piles and 670 panels. The job included the construction of capping beam walls, pile cap walls, post and panel walls, forming and casting in-situ transition barriers, in-situ pedestrian ramps as well as landing parapets and barriers and lastly installing rail and handrail systems.
