Scope of work

Starting with 420lm of capping beam and parapet installation in July 2018, CIG successfully delivered the entire structural scope of bridge works for John Holland. CIG were responsible for Excavation and FRP of the Russel St, Rose St & Rail Bridges – taking just 15 shifts and handing back a total of 5 shifts ahead of schedule over the space of just two short rail occupations.

In addition to successfully completing the main bridge FRP package, CIG were also awarded the installation of high-risk precast F-Type barriers and architectural wall panels – a first for any Victorian John Holland project. Other CIG scope included supply and installation of precast approach slabs, 440 lineal metres of architectural steel handrails, and steel infills.
