Scope of work
The scope of works varies for each project and ensures full compliance with VicRoads standard specifications. The works encompass a range of construction activities, including:
- Construction of bridges, covering both the substructure and superstructure.
- Installation of RC (Reinforced Concrete) columns to facilitate road widening works.
- Construction of bridge decks over waterways.
- Construction of a pedestrian bridge deck.
The tasks involved in the scope of works include, but are not limited to:
Forming, fixing reinforcement, pouring, and finishing of pile caps, crossheads, and bridge decks.
Installation of precast elements, such as transfloors and parapet barriers.
Forming and pouring concrete stitch for the parapet barriers.
Installation of expansion joints.
Installation of steel plates to connect new RC columns to existing structures.
Excavation, sheet piling, and pile breakback operations.
Designing and supplying temporary works.
These activities ensure the successful execution of the project while adhering to VicRoads standards and specifications.
